Boutique submissions

When a boutique submits or verifies a listing, we store the business, factual, authorization, and contact details needed to review it and reply. We do not sell contact information.

Payments

The founding-profile offer closed August 18, 2026. Stripe retains any records needed to manage or close an existing subscription; Persnickety Try-On Index does not store full payment-card or bank-account numbers.

Directory visitors

The directory does not require an account. Standard hosting logs may record basic technical details such as IP address, browser, and requested page for security and reliability.

Missing-search requests

When a shopper records a missing search, we collect the requested city or shop, state, bridal size, and an optional email address. The address is used only for one matching notice and is not added to a newsletter.

Outbound recommendations

When a visitor follows an at-home try-on recommendation, we may record the provider, source page, destination, whether the link was compensated, and time of the click. We do not put an email address or full payment information in that event.

Corrections and deletion

Contact us from the business email associated with a submission to request a correction or deletion. Last updated August 25, 2026.
